Artist Statement

My work represents guttural, instinctual responses to societal norms and everday thoughts I have difficulties coming to terms with or understanding. Using imagery and sculpture to explore hard to ask questions or announce feelings I can't find the exact right words for. I use whatever material or medium works best, and often find myself working through ideas in as many ways as I can till they are fully realized. Inviting the viewer to explore these ideas in ways that are approachable, interpreting them based of their own disposistions and perspectives rather than asking them to try and guess where my head was at during the creation process.

Artistic Process

I have a hand in every aspect of my art making, if its in the finished piece I shaped it or altered it in some way. I love to problem solve and tinker so its really important to me to figure it all out and filter the ideas and process through my own brain.
