Artist Statement
Eric Beyer worked as a product designer, (industrial design) for his entire professional career. This chapter is about marrying the professional and creative in clay. Working on the pottery wheel or hand building. Sculpting and forming clay into fun useful shapes.
Artistic Process
Clay is a wonderful media for 3D art. It is part sculpture and part painting some times frustrating but always allows for creative inspiration to be shared. With a pottery wheel, slab roller and a wide variety of hand tools there is so much one can create.
