Cazenovia Area Painters - organization

Artist Statement

Participation is open to anyone. The group also has a generous amount of information shared on it's Facebook page.

Some of the regular painters have their own studios on display for the Art Trail. Member's artwork can also be found in numerous shows and shops around Central New York.

There are currently 62 people on the groups email list, and more who follow along via Facebook. Some notable area artists who participate on a regular basis include Mary Pagett, Drayton Jones, Judy Levins, Deb Wester, Wayne Daniels, Rick Marchant, Toloa Perry, Julie Gratien, Marybeth Sorber, Bobbie Flintop and Meg Harris.

Artistic Process

Although art can be a solitary endeavor, there is a great amount of fresh insight and excitement gained by sharing one's process with others in a beautiful natural setting. Each week, the artists bring their own supplies and work independently...eventually gathering to share their work with the group.
