Artist Statement

"My sculpture often begins with a small discarded piece of wax, the mere suggestion of a form that gathers momentum as I explore. My forms emerge freely, often without prior conception or sketches. A sculpture is born in wax, shaped in my hands, disciplined by my eye, until finally after the lost wax casting process, the forms are worked and refined to perfection.

This is a labor-intensive journey, but one of deep engagement as each piece is discovered, shaped and refined to reveal beauty within and around it."
